Celltei was born out of the love of a Yorkie called Unzhizhi and her owner Angie Yeung.
Found as a stray in Hong Kong, Angie's home land, Unzhizhi and Angie moved to New York together in 1999. Disillusioned with corporate America she started Celltei to bring quality pet carriers to the world's pets that not only look cool but are full functional and durable. They also wanted to cater for bigger dogs who are so often left out of the carrier market as flimsy carriers wont sustain them.
PetzCrazee's founder Sara Raven had bought a Celltei carrier for her Chihuahua Reese when living in the USA but after 3 years of serious travel and wear and tear it was time to get Reese another one. Having scouted in many boutiques we found that most carriers looked great but didn't have the capacity for an 8lb dog and looked like handbags which husbands would not carry!
It was then PetzCrazee approached Celltei and asked whether we could work with them in the UK and thankfully Angie agreed.
Celltei carriers are not cheap as they are made in Hong Kong which is considerable more expensive than China. However to obtain the confidence needed to sell a quality carrier the extra money is worth it.
All carriers are reinforced, have great ventilation and have most functions that any customer could ever wish for!
